Of course they are wasted against ground defenses or starbases. A Nuclear MIRV EMG missile can down cause core breaches against most unshielded ships. Plus you can just research down the same tree that fuel, armor, and pollution controls are down so that is one less tree to tech down as much.ĮMG is a must have mod for it so make sure you research it. MIRV is a must have mod for them since it quads the damage they do. ECM and point defense are the only thing that stops them and that is easily countered with more missiles (or ARM/ECCM mods). Missiles work great because they are pretty accurate. For your military, use what works best for you and follows your tech tree plans. ![]()
