![]() ![]() I jacked up several more settings to ultra. My laptop handled it with ease and was still able to alt-tab out to chrome and back like it was nothing. ![]() Then I decided to boost graphics in game. I hearthed to the temple of two moons and still no loading time (outside of the normal loading screen with the bar at the bottom). Wow loaded BLAZING FAST and all graphics in town pretty much loaded instantly. ![]() Then fired up the battlenet desktop app, then launched WoW. Then I set it to run at 4 GB.Īs per that webpage, you insert the flash drive, right click the drive in windows explorer, click the Readyboost tab, click the button that says "dedicate this device to Readyboost" and then click Apply. Then I opened windows explorer, right clicked on the flash drive, and went to this tab called Readyboost. I closed all my programs (WoW, chrome, battlenet desktop app) and didn't even reboot. I grabbed some 3-4 year old 16 GB patriot flash drive I had lying around. I thought maybe go out and buy a SSD, or maybe a flash drive and put all of WoW on it. It takes forever to load graphics in game. It gags if I alt-tab in and out to use Chrome. I've had to run at medium to low settings to play. PLEASE PLEASE MODS - I beg you to leave this thread in this forum because I discovered something HUGE to improve game / computer performance. ![]()
